A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to financial reporting requirements for toll projects. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 372, Transportation Code, |
|
|
is amended by adding Section 372.054 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 372.054. FINANCIAL REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR TOLL |
|
|
PROJECTS. Not later than December 31 of each year, a toll project |
|
|
entity shall publish on the entity's Internet website a report on |
|
|
the entity's annual financial data, including toll revenue, |
|
|
operational expenses, and outstanding debt, for each toll project |
|
|
acquired, designed, constructed, operated, or maintained by the |
|
|
entity. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
