A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the disposition of certain amounts collected for rail |
|
|
safety. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 111.101(e), Transportation Code, is |
|
|
amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(e) A fee collected under this section shall be deposited to |
|
|
the credit of the state highway fund [general revenue fund] to be |
|
|
used for the rail safety program. |
|
|
SECTION 2. Section 111.103, Transportation Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: |
|
|
(f) A fee collected under this section shall be deposited to |
|
|
the credit of the state highway fund. |
|
|
SECTION 3. Section 471.005(c), Transportation Code, is |
|
|
amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(c) Money received under Subsection (a)(2) shall be |
|
|
deposited in the state treasury to the credit of the state highway |
|
|
fund. |
|
|
SECTION 4. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
