A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to examinations required for licensure by the Texas Real |
|
|
Estate Commission. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 1101.403, Occupations Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows: |
|
|
(d-1) The commission shall ensure that any examination |
|
|
required by this chapter or Chapter 1102, including an examination |
|
|
administered by a testing service, is offered in Spanish on request |
|
|
of an applicant. |
|
|
SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only |
|
|
to an examination under Chapter 1101 or 1102, Occupations Code, |
|
|
that is administered on or after January 1, 2020. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
