A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the requirement that the Texas Veterans Commission |
|
|
provide training to support the veterans mental health program. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 434.353, Government Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: |
|
|
(c) The commission shall cross-train agency staff to |
|
|
support the mental health program for veterans developed under |
|
|
Chapter 1001, Health and Safety Code. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
