A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the development and posting by county governments of |
|
|
lists of local mental health resources available to the public. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

|
SECTION 1. Chapter 370, Local Government Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Section 370.007 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 370.007. POSTING OF LOCAL MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES. |
|
|
The governing body of each county in this state shall develop and |
|
|
post on the county's Internet website a comprehensive list of local |
|
|
mental health resources available in the county to the public. The |
|
|
list must include, to the extent practicable, a fee schedule for |
|
|
each resource included on the list. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
