HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 4686 has passed the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives and the Texas Senate, been enrolled by the |
|
|
enrolling clerk of the house of representatives, and been signed by |
|
|
the speaker of the house of representatives and is being prepared to |
|
|
be sent to the senate; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 4686 contains a technical error that |
|
|
should be corrected; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the signature of the speaker of the house of |
|
|
representatives be declared null and void and that the speaker be |
|
|
authorized to remove the speaker's signature from enrolled House |
|
|
Bill No. 4686; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the enrolling clerk of the house of |
|
|
representatives be hereby instructed to correct House Bill No. 4686 |
|
|
by striking SECTION 4 of the bill (page 4, lines 5 and 6), repealing |
|
|
provisions of the Special District Local Laws Code, and |
|
|
substituting the following appropriately numbered SECTION: |
|
|
SECTION ____. Sections 8334.103(b) and 8334.104, Special |
|
|
District Local Laws Code, are repealed. |
