R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, The Honorable Frank J. Fraley won election as judge
  of the 240th District Court in Fort Bend County in November 2018;
  and
         WHEREAS, In fulfilling the duties of his office, Judge Fraley
  will draw on a wealth of valuable experience; a Florida native, he
  began working in an orange grove when he was only nine years old,
  and he completed his bachelor's degree in medical technology at the
  University of South Florida; he worked as a supervisor medical
  technologist at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston
  while completing his degree at Texas Southern University's Thurgood
  Marshall School of Law; and
         WHEREAS, Judge Fraley was admitted to the State Bar of Texas
  in 1991 and embarked on a career in general practice focused on
  criminal defense; his other professional affiliations include
  membership in the Fort Bend County Criminal Defense Attorneys
  Association, the Katy Bar Association, and the Texas Criminal
  Defense Lawyers Association; and
         WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of
  life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts
  of Judge Fraley will help to make Fort Bend County an even better
  place in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Frank J. Fraley on his election as
  judge of the 240th District Court and extend to him sincere best
  wishes for a successful tenure; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Judge Fraley as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
