R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, James and Margaret Ragan of Sulphur Springs |
|
|
celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on January 10, 2019, and |
|
|
they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they |
|
|
have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1959, Mr. and Mrs. Ragan |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony at the home of Brother Avery |
|
|
Hammonds of the Divide community, and over the course of their |
|
|
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ragan count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their daughters, Sherry and Shelly, their |
|
|
sons-in-law, Patrick and Jay, and their four grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six decades, James and Margaret Ragan have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate James and Margaret Ragan on their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness. |
