R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jan Stovall, a third-grade reading teacher at |
|
|
Morningside Elementary School in the Dumas Independent School |
|
|
District, has been named the 2019 Elementary Teacher of the Year by |
|
|
the Region 16 Education Service Center; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The winners of these prestigious annual awards are |
|
|
first nominated for consideration by their fellow faculty members, |
|
|
and those who are later chosen as district Teacher of the Year |
|
|
become eligible for the regional honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Jan Stovall exemplifies the passion, determination, |
|
|
and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our best teachers, |
|
|
and she has set a standard of excellence to which all in her |
|
|
profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jan Stovall on her selection as the |
|
|
2019 Elementary Teacher of the Year by the Region 16 Education |
|
|
Service Center and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success with her important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Stovall as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
