R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Marnie Rocha has been named the new associate |
|
|
superintendent of the Canutillo Independent School District, and |
|
|
this achievement indeed merits special recognition; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In the course of her 28 years in education, |
|
|
Ms. Rocha has served Canutillo ISD as the principal of Alderete |
|
|
Middle School and as the district's executive director of |
|
|
curriculum and instruction; she holds a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
history and a master's degree in education from The University of |
|
|
Texas at El Paso; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Marnie Rocha's dedication and expertise have |
|
|
greatly benefited Canutillo ISD over the years, and the experience |
|
|
she has acquired along the way will serve her well as she takes on |
|
|
this challenging new role; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Marnie Rocha on her selection as |
|
|
associate superintendent of the Canutillo Independent School |
|
|
District and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Rocha as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
