R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sofia Blanco, a Form 4 student at Saint Mary's Hall |
|
|
in San Antonio, won the Lower School spelling bee on January 16, |
|
|
2019; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sofia competed alongside many talented friends and |
|
|
classmates to win the contest, and she will represent her school in |
|
|
the San Antonio Express-News Spelling Bee this spring; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Logan Blanco and Caroline |
|
|
Roffidal-Blanco, Sofia also plays basketball and participates in |
|
|
Girl Scouts; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sofia Blanco has demonstrated remarkable talent and |
|
|
dedication, and she is deserving of recognition for her outstanding |
|
|
achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sofia Blanco on winning the Saint |
|
|
Mary's Hall Lower School spelling bee and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Blanco as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
