R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Hailey Hollowell has ably served her fellow Texans
  as an intern in the office of State Representative Dan Huberty
  during the 86th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Hollowell has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  including attending public education hearings and advocacy
  meetings, preparing hearing requests for assigned bills, and
  corresponding with constituents; in addition to gaining valuable
  experience in the field of public service, she has learned more
  about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the
  Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Ellen Hollowell, Gary Hollowell, and
  Trisha Smith, Ms. Hollowell is a freshman at The University of
  Texas at Austin, where she is a Plan II Honors student and is
  majoring in international relations and global studies; she has
  also given back to her campus community as a member of the UT Senate
  of College Councils Academic Enrichment Committee as well as the UT
  Liberal Arts Council College Ambassadors Committee; following her
  graduation, she plans to pursue a career in public education policy
  at the state or federal level; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Hailey Hollowell for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Dan
  Huberty and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Hollowell as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
