R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kris Arden Maxymillian of Humble has ably served her |
|
|
fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State Representative Dan |
|
|
Huberty during the 86th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Maxymillian has |
|
|
provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging |
|
|
tasks; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of |
|
|
public service, she has learned more about the legislative process |
|
|
and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of David Cobb and Hollie Maxymillian, |
|
|
Ms. Maxymillian is a first-year Canfield Business Honors and Plan |
|
|
II Honors student at The University of Texas at Austin; she has |
|
|
participated in the First Amendment Scholars Program, and she has |
|
|
been named to the Dean's Honor List and received a Stephanie and |
|
|
Mark Hamilton President Scholarship; she is also a member of the |
|
|
Longhorn Singers; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Kris Maxymillian for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Dan |
|
|
Huberty and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Maxymillian as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
