R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, The BBQ is Back Cook-off is taking place in |
|
|
Littlefield on July 19 and 20, 2019; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sanctioned by the International Barbeque Cookers |
|
|
Association as one of the organization's annual state cook-offs, |
|
|
this much anticipated event attracts accomplished pit masters from |
|
|
across Texas who put their skills to the test as they vie to produce |
|
|
the tastiest entries and earn prizes in several different |
|
|
categories; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The cook-off is held in conjunction with the two-day |
|
|
Celebrate Littlefield festivities; along with great food and |
|
|
spirited culinary competition, attendees can also enjoy live music |
|
|
and a range of family-friendly activities; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The BBQ is Back Cook-off is a beloved community |
|
|
tradition that offers fun and excitement for individuals of all |
|
|
ages, and it promises to be a source of fond memories for all who |
|
|
attend; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the 2019 BBQ is Back Cook-off in |
|
|
Littlefield and extend sincere best wishes to the event's |
|
|
organizers and participants for an enjoyable get-together. |
