R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Paulo Hernandez of the Corpus Christi Police |
|
|
Department was promoted to lieutenant at the department's awards |
|
|
ceremony on March 29, 2019; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In the course of an outstanding career in law |
|
|
enforcement, Paulo Hernandez has served as a field training officer |
|
|
and as a member of the hostage negotiation team; moreover, he has |
|
|
been an important part of the narcotics vice division for the past |
|
|
three years; his contributions to the Corpus Christi PD earned him |
|
|
the title of Field Officer of the Year in 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Lieutenant Hernandez has upheld the highest ideals |
|
|
of his profession, and he may indeed reflect with pride on this |
|
|
well-deserved recognition of his commitment to his fellow officers |
|
|
and to the citizens of Corpus Christi; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Paulo Hernandez on his promotion to |
|
|
lieutenant and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success with his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Lieutenant Hernandez as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
