R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
of Madeline Hinds Haire of Spring Branch, who passed away on January |
|
31, 2019, at the age of 81; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Claude and Mabel Hinds, the former |
|
Madeline Hinds was born in 1937, and she grew up in DeSoto Parish, |
|
Louisiana, with three siblings, Terral, Jerry, and Gloria; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Haire was the devoted mother of three |
|
daughters, Sharon, Sheila, and Shelley, and she had the pleasure of |
|
seeing her family grow to include three grandsons, Michael, Joey, |
|
and Joshua, and a great-granddaughter, Olivia; and |
|
WHEREAS, Later in life, Mrs. Haire moved from Louisiana to |
|
Comal County, where she enjoyed the beauty of the Hill Country; she |
|
liked to cook and garden, and above all she treasured the time spent |
|
in the company of her loved ones; a woman of faith, she was a |
|
longtime member of Wallace Baptist Church in DeSoto Parish; and |
|
WHEREAS, Madeline Haire possessed a generosity of spirit that |
|
expressed itself in myriad ways, and she enriched the lives of |
|
countless people with her warmth and kindness; now, therefore, be |
|
it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Madeline Hinds |
|
Haire and extend heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends; and, |
|
be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Madeline |
|
Haire. |
