R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Cheryl Lombardo received well-deserved recognition |
|
|
when she was presented with an Excellence in Elementary Teaching |
|
|
Award at the Plano Independent School District 2018 Teacher of the |
|
|
Year Gala; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A special education structured teacher at Hughston |
|
|
Elementary School, Ms. Lombardo serves as team leader of the |
|
|
Centralized Structure Classroom; drawing on a wealth of experience |
|
|
and creativity, she works tirelessly to promote student growth by |
|
|
providing an engaging and inclusive learning environment and by |
|
|
developing strong partnerships with parents and community |
|
|
supporters; moreover, as a member of the Hughston Leadership Team, |
|
|
she is committed to building a campus-wide culture of empathy and |
|
|
understanding; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Cheryl Lombardo exemplifies the passion, |
|
|
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |
|
|
best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all |
|
|
in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Cheryl Lombardo on her receipt of a |
|
|
2018 Plano ISD Excellence in Elementary Teaching Award and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for continued success with her important |
|
|
work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Lombardo as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
