R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Harold White received well-deserved recognition |
|
|
when he was presented with an Excellence in Elementary Teaching |
|
|
Award at the Plano Independent School District 2018 Teacher of the |
|
|
Year Gala; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. White is a physical education teacher at Boggess |
|
|
Elementary School, where he has demonstrated an impressive ability |
|
|
to engage students through the use of chants, cheers, and music; in |
|
|
addition to promoting healthy exercise and eating habits, he has |
|
|
helped his students develop good sportsmanship and teamwork; he has |
|
|
also served as a mentor to new teachers, and he has generously |
|
|
shared his time, talents, and abundant energy as the host of a |
|
|
variety of school events, as well as the campus's PTA staff |
|
|
representative and Safety Patrol organizer; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Harold White exemplifies the passion, |
|
|
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |
|
|
best teachers, and he has set a standard of excellence to which all |
|
|
in his profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Harold White on his receipt of a |
|
|
2018 Plano ISD Excellence in Elementary Teaching Award and extend |
|
|
to him sincere best wishes for continued success with his important |
|
|
work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. White as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
