R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The family and friends of Marie Therese Kleinpeter |
|
Chambers of Waxahachie are mourning the untimely loss of this |
|
beloved woman, who passed away on March 14, 2019, at the age of 63; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the former Marie |
|
Therese Kleinpeter was the daughter of John and Mary Ann Kleinpeter |
|
and the sister of four siblings, Suzanne, Jim, Laura, and Lane; she |
|
graduated from St. Joseph's Academy, and as a young woman, she |
|
trained and performed in ballet under the tutelage of Phoebe |
|
Brantley; and |
|
WHEREAS, Her passion for animals later led Mrs. Chambers to |
|
raise and ride horses for many years, and she was known for often |
|
taking in stray dogs and cats and supporting various causes |
|
benefiting animals in need; she loved spending time outdoors, |
|
whether working in her yard or tending to her flower garden, and the |
|
care and attention she paid to her beautiful home made it the envy |
|
of the neighborhood; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Chambers was cherished by a family that |
|
included her husband, Jeff Chambers, her stepdaughters, Lindsey and |
|
Shelbi, and her step-grandchildren, Zoya, Ivan, and Jack, along |
|
with many nieces and nephews; she especially relished every |
|
opportunity to visit the younger members of her family, whom she |
|
showered with love and affection; and |
|
WHEREAS, Marie Chambers enriched the lives of everyone around |
|
her with her grace, her kindness, and her joie de vivre, and she |
|
will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those she leaves |
|
behind; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Marie Therese |
|
Kleinpeter Chambers and extend deepest condolences to all who mourn |
|
her passing; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Marie |
|
Chambers. |
