R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jessica Rubio has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
an aide in the office of State Representative Gina Calanni during |
|
|
the 86th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Rubio has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of the University of Houston, Ms. Rubio |
|
|
spent much of her time in college interning with organizations that |
|
|
positively impacted the local community; she plans to begin |
|
|
pursuing a master's degree in the fall of 2019; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Jessica Rubio for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Gina Calanni |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
|
|
her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
|
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Rubio as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
