R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Kelsey Lammons has ably served her fellow Texans as
  a policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu
  during the 86th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Lammons has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  such as researching, responding to constituents, and attending
  hearings and briefings; in addition to gaining valuable experience
  in the field of public service, she has learned more about the
  legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star
  State; and
         WHEREAS, A student at The University of Texas at Austin,
  Ms. Lammons is graduating in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in
  social work as well as a certificate in public policy; she has
  served as a research assistant at University College Dublin and as a
  student fellow and peer mentor through the Austin City Hall Fellows
  Program, and she is currently a BSW intern for the Texas Center for
  Disability Studies; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a policy analyst with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Kelsey Lammons for her service as a
  policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Lammons as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
