R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Edwards County elected |
|
|
official drew to a close when Mark Bean retired as the tax |
|
|
assessor-collector on April 9, 2018; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Taking office on January 1, 2013, Mr. Bean served |
|
|
his fellow citizens with distinction during his notable tenure; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment to |
|
|
good governance, Mark Bean has helped make Edwards County an even |
|
|
better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of |
|
|
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mark Bean on his retirement as the |
|
|
tax assessor-collector for Edwards County and extend to him sincere |
|
|
best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Bean as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
