R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Maryellen Rayner celebrated a significant milestone
  in her life on May 11, 2019, when she graduated from the Gaylord
  College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of
  Oklahoma; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Rayner has demonstrated impressive dedication
  to her studies while working toward her bachelor's degree in
  advertising with a minor in psychology; her academic achievements
  have earned her membership in the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor
  Fraternity, which she has served as scholarship chair; in addition,
  she is a proud member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority; and
         WHEREAS, Among the many other activities she has undertaken
  as a student, Ms. Rayner has served as vice chair of a concert
  series, as account manager and director of the Lindsey + Asp
  student-run advertising agency, and as an event planner and
  promoter for the Campus Corner; and
         WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
  outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing
  her as she embarks on a future bright with promise; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Maryellen Rayner on her graduation
  from the University of Oklahoma and extend to her sincere best
  wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Rayner as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
