R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, JaDaisha C. Ryans has been named valedictorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2019 at Middle College High School at HCC Gulfton in |
|
|
Houston, and she indeed merits special recognition for receiving |
|
|
this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Ryans has demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Ryans plans to continue her education at Texas |
|
|
Southern University and major in psychology or general studies; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her years at Middle College High School at |
|
|
HCC Gulfton, JaDaisha C. Ryans has earned the respect and |
|
|
admiration of both her teachers and classmates, and her exceptional |
|
|
scholastic ability and commitment to excellence have opened the way |
|
|
to a bright and promising future for this outstanding young Texan; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate JaDaisha C. Ryans for earning the |
|
|
title of valedictorian of the Class of 2019 at Middle College High |
|
|
School at HCC Gulfton and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her |
|
|
life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Ryans as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
