R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Mario Enrique Pineda Garcia has been named |
|
|
salutatorian of the Class of 2019 at Liberty High School in |
|
|
Houston, and he indeed merits special recognition for receiving |
|
|
this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Mr. Garcia has demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Garcia plans to continue his education at the |
|
|
University of Houston and major in computer science; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Liberty High School, Mario |
|
|
Enrique Pineda Garcia has earned the respect and admiration of both |
|
|
his teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability |
|
|
and commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and |
|
|
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mario Enrique Pineda Garcia for |
|
|
earning the title of salutatorian of the Class of 2019 at Liberty |
|
|
High School and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success as he begins the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Garcia as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
