R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Robert and Robbie McMahan celebrated their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on April 11, 2019, and they may indeed reflect |
|
|
with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. McMahan exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
at Gateway Baptist Church in Waco on that memorable day in 1969; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of their marriage, they have found |
|
|
in each other a loving life partner; the couple count among their |
|
|
blessings a fine family that includes their children, in whom they |
|
|
take great pride; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Robert and Robbie McMahan have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Robert and Robbie McMahan on their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
