R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sullivan Wilke of Bandera High School achieved great |
|
|
distinction by winning a gold medal in the 4A high jump at the 2019 |
|
|
University Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors in |
|
|
Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 10 and 11, Ms. Wilke |
|
|
turned in a notable performance, clearing a height of 5 feet, 4 |
|
|
inches, to claim the title; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |
|
|
high school track and field athletes, Sullivan Wilke has ably |
|
|
represented her school, and she will cherish her memories of this |
|
|
outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sullivan Wilke on her championship |
|
|
win in the 4A high jump at the 2019 UIL Track & Field State Meet and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Wilke as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
