R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and
  meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends
  of Clemente B. Lopez of Robstown, who passed away on February 16,
  2019, at the age of 86; and
         WHEREAS, Clemente Lopez was born to Nicanor and Yrene Lopez
  on November 23, 1932, in Live Oak County; he grew up in the Ray Point
  community with 12 brothers and sisters, Carolina, Florencia,
  Bernardo, Felipe, Dionisio, Floyd, Elvira, Santos, Angelita, Rosa,
  Baudelia, and Adriana; he played guitar and accordion in a band
  during his youth; and
         WHEREAS, Initially working alongside his father as a
  farmhand, Mr. Lopez went on to become an electric contractor's
  assistant, and he enjoyed a successful career with the Nueces
  Electric Co-op that spanned nearly four decades; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Lopez shared a rewarding family life with his
  wife, Juanita, his children, Balerio, O'nora, Adolfo, Carolina, and
  Norma, and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Admired for his warmth, generosity of spirit, and
  strength of character, Clemente Lopez enjoyed a life that was rich
  in the intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all
  those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Clemente B. Lopez
  and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Juanita G. Lopez; to his children, Balerio Lopez and his
  wife, Delia, O'nora L. Soliz, Adolfo Lopez Sr. and his wife, Norma,
  Carolina Lopez, and Norma Flores; to his grandchildren, Linda
  Torrez, Adolfo Ysassi, Nicole Martinez, Hector Flores II, Daniela
  R. Lopez, Adolfo Lopez Jr., David A. Soliz, Donica A. Lopez, and
  Amy Rose Lopez; to his great-grandchildren, Bella, Ben Clemente,
  Marissa, Alejandra, L. J., Sophia, Adelina, Allison Grace, Adrian,
  Alaina Faith, and Trey; to his siblings, Bernardo, Felipe,
  Dionisio, Floyd, Elvira, Santos, Angelita, Rosa, Baudelia, and
  Adriana; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Clemente
  Lopez.
