R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Starr County Memorial Hospital has distinguished |
|
|
itself by earning designation as a Level IV trauma facility from the |
|
|
Texas Department of State Health Services; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This prestigious recognition is awarded to health |
|
|
care centers that go above and beyond the state's minimum hospital |
|
|
licensure requirements; valid for three years, the designation |
|
|
reflects an institution's outstanding dedication to improving, |
|
|
expediting, and standardizing the care of trauma patients; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since its establishment in 1975, Starr County |
|
|
Memorial Hospital has played a vital role in ensuring the health and |
|
|
well-being of area residents, and its Level IV trauma designation |
|
|
is a testament to the exceptional skill and commitment of its |
|
|
physicians, administrators, and staff; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Starr County Memorial Hospital on |
|
|
its designation as a Level IV trauma facility by the Texas |
|
|
Department of State Health Services and extend to all those |
|
|
associated with the hospital sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success with their important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Starr County Memorial Hospital as an expression of |
|
|
high regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
