R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lori Wilson is retiring from Borger Middle School in |
|
|
2019, drawing to a close an outstanding career in education that has |
|
|
spanned more than three decades; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A sixth-grade English language arts teacher, |
|
|
Ms. Wilson joined the Borger Independent School District 13 years |
|
|
ago; prior to accepting her current position, she served as a |
|
|
fourth-grade teacher in the district for several years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Wilson began her work in education as a |
|
|
fourth-grade teacher in Pampa, where she taught for 18 years; |
|
|
respected and admired by her students and colleagues alike, she is a |
|
|
passionate and dedicated educator who has made a lasting impression |
|
|
on all who have had the privilege of knowing her; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Lori Wilson has embodied the spirit and commitment |
|
|
that are the hallmarks of our best teachers, and she may indeed take |
|
|
pride in a career well spent as she embarks on the next exciting |
|
|
chapter of her life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Lori Wilson on her retirement from |
|
|
Borger Middle School and extend to her sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Wilson as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
