R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Abbie Boggs of Morton High School distinguished |
|
|
herself through her participation in the 2019 University |
|
|
Interscholastic League Golf State Tournament; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the state's other top 1A golfers at Lions |
|
|
Municipal Golf Course in Austin on May 13 and 14, Ms. Boggs turned |
|
|
in a commendable performance, shooting a combined score of 190 over |
|
|
the two days of play; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete in the state's |
|
|
premier showcase for high school golfers, this determined young |
|
|
Texan has ably represented her school and community, and she may |
|
|
indeed reflect with pride on this notable accomplishment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Abbie Boggs on her participation in |
|
|
the 2019 UIL Golf State Tournament and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Boggs as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
