R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Students from White Deer High School distinguished
  themselves through their participation in the 2019 University
  Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and
         WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors in
  Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 10 and 11, the White
  Deer High contingent included the relay team of Darrien Gonzales,
  Hunter Warmiski, Gage Freeman, and Mason Mooney, which placed sixth
  in both the 1A boys' 4x100-meter relay and the 4x200-meter relay;
  moreover, two students won individual honors, with Mr. Freeman
  coming in sixth in the 1A boys' 300-meter hurdles and Sydnee
  Hendrick earning eighth place in the 1A girls' discus throw; and
         WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete in the state's
  premier showcase for high school track & field athletes, these
  determined young Texans have ably represented their school and
  community, and they may indeed reflect with pride on their notable
  accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the students from White Deer High
  School who participated in the 2019 UIL Track & Field State Meet and
  extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the students as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
