R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Students from Ropes High School distinguished
  themselves through their participation in the 2019 University
  Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and
         WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors in
  Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 10 and 11, the Ropes
  High contingent included Chloe Trull, who earned fourth place in
  the 1A girls' 1,600-meter run and fifth in the 3,200-meter race, and
  Sam Addison, who finished fourth in the boys' 110-meter hurdles and
  seventh in the 300-meter hurdles; additionally, Jaden Clabaugh,
  Pake Partington, Evan Flores, and Mr. Addison came in sixth in the
  boys' 4x400-meter relay; and
         WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete in the state's
  premier showcase for high school track & field athletes, these
  determined young Texans have ably represented their school and
  community, and they may indeed reflect with pride on their notable
  accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the students from Ropes High School
  who participated in the 2019 UIL Track & Field State Meet and extend
  to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the students as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
