R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Manuel Sandoval has been named valedictorian of the |
|
|
Class of 2019 at Porter Early College High School in Brownsville, |
|
|
and he indeed merits special recognition for receiving this |
|
|
significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the top |
|
|
ranking student in his class, Mr. Sandoval demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
|
recognized for his hard work, Mr. Sandoval has gained the |
|
|
opportunity to address his fellow seniors at commencement and to |
|
|
reflect on their shared history as well as their hopes and |
|
|
ambitions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Porter Early College High |
|
|
School, Manuel Sandoval has earned the respect and admiration of |
|
|
both his teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic |
|
|
ability and commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright |
|
|
and promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Manuel Sandoval on graduating as |
|
|
valedictorian of the Porter Early College High School Class of 2019 |
|
|
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he |
|
|
begins the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Sandoval as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
