R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Alexander Uhlmann has ably served the people of |
|
Texas as a policy analyst in the office of State Representative |
|
Jessica González during the 86th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Uhlmann has provided |
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, and he has worked on |
|
matters related to affordable housing and urban affairs; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Uhlmann earned his bachelor's degree in |
|
political science from the University of Memphis; while an |
|
undergraduate, he campaigned for several candidates, and he drafted |
|
research on issues of public health and early childhood education |
|
in the Mississippi Delta; he currently attends The University of |
|
Texas at Austin, where he is pursuing dual master's degrees in |
|
public affairs and community and regional planning; and |
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young man has performed his duties |
|
as a policy analyst with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Alexander Uhlmann for his service as a |
|
policy analyst in the office of State Representative Jessica |
|
González and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Uhlmann as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
