R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Griffin Brosowske of Perryton High School achieved |
|
|
great distinction by participating in the 2019 University |
|
|
Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors in |
|
|
Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 10 and 11, |
|
|
Mr. Brosowske competed in the 4A 300-meter hurdles and finished in |
|
|
eighth place; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete as one of the elite |
|
|
track and field athletes in the Lone Star State, Griffin Brosowske |
|
|
has ably represented his school, and he may indeed reflect with |
|
|
pride on his notable accomplishments; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Griffin Brosowske on participating |
|
|
in the 4A 300-meter hurdles at the 2019 UIL Track & Field State Meet |
|
|
and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Brosowske as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
