R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ian Jimenez has been named valedictorian of the |
|
Class of 2019 at Southwest High School in the Fort Worth Independent |
|
School District, and he indeed merits special recognition for |
|
receiving this significant honor; and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the |
|
top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Jimenez demonstrated a |
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his |
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Ana Garcia and Jesus Jimenez, Ian Jimenez |
|
plans to continue his education by studying physics at Texas A&M |
|
University-Commerce; and |
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Southwest High School, Ian |
|
Jimenez has earned the respect and admiration of both his teachers |
|
and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and |
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and |
|
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ian Jimenez on graduating as the |
|
valedictorian of the Southwest High School Class of 2019 and extend |
|
to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the |
|
next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Jimenez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
