R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Paige Bostic has ably served her fellow Texans as an |
|
intern in the office of State Representative Nicole Collier during |
|
the 86th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Bostic is a participant in the Texas Legislative |
|
Internship Program administered by Texas Southern University, and |
|
she has provided vital assistance to Representative Collier in her |
|
work as chair of the Criminal Jurisprudence Committee; in addition |
|
to handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, Ms. Bostic has |
|
gained valuable experience in the field of public service and |
|
learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing |
|
citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
WHEREAS, A student in the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, |
|
Ms. Bostic has further distinguished herself as a class |
|
representative and as a mentor to other students, and she has also |
|
played an instrumental role in organizing community programs that |
|
provide assistance to those in need; and |
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a |
|
legislative intern with skill, dedication, and humility, and her |
|
strong work ethic and positive attitude have been an invaluable |
|
asset to the office; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Paige Bostic for her service as a |
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Nicole |
|
Collier and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Bostic as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
