R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Caden Carwile of Olton High School distinguished |
|
|
himself through his participation in the 2019 University |
|
|
Interscholastic League Golf State Tournament; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the state's other top 2A golfers at Roy |
|
|
Kizer Golf Course in Austin on May 20 and 21, Mr. Carwile turned in |
|
|
a commendable performance, shooting a combined score of 170 over |
|
|
the two days of play; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete in the state's |
|
|
premier showcase for high school golfers, this determined young |
|
|
Texan has ably represented his school and community, and he may |
|
|
indeed reflect with pride on this notable accomplishment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Caden Carwile on his participation |
|
|
in the 2019 UIL Golf State Tournament and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Carwile as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
