R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Braxton Floyd of Pampa High School distinguished |
|
|
himself through his participation in the 2019 University |
|
|
Interscholastic League Golf State Tournament; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the state's other top 4A golfers at Plum |
|
|
Creek Golf Course in Kyle on May 20 and 21, Mr. Floyd turned in an |
|
|
outstanding performance, shooting a combined score of 145 over the |
|
|
two days of play to finish in fourth place; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |
|
|
high school golfers, this determined young Texan has ably |
|
|
represented his school and community, and he may indeed reflect |
|
|
with pride on this notable accomplishment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Braxton Floyd on his participation |
|
|
in the 2019 UIL Golf State Tournament and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Floyd as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
