A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the use of money in the ship channel improvement |
|
|
revolving fund. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 56.003(a), Transportation Code, is |
|
|
amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(a) The commission by rule shall establish a revolving loan |
|
|
program to use money from the fund to finance qualified projects of: |
|
|
(1) [for] navigation districts; or |
|
|
(2) municipalities or boards of trustees under Chapter |
|
|

|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
