A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the clerk and other personnel of the municipal court of |
|
|
record of the City of Lubbock. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 30.00044(l), Government Code, is amended |
|
|
to read as follows: |
|
|
(l) Sections [Section] 30.00007(b)(5) and 30.00009(c) and |
|
|
(d) do [does] not apply to this subchapter. |
|
|
SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies to a |
|
|
clerk and other court personnel of the municipal court of record of |
|
|
the City of Lubbock employed on or after the effective date of this |
|
|
Act, regardless of whether the clerk or other personnel began |
|
|
employment before, on, or after the effective date of this Act. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
