A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the availability online of hospital trauma response |
|
|
revenue code data. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

|
SECTION 1. Chapter 108, Health and Safety Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Section 108.0093 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 108.0093. INTERNET POSTING OF CERTAIN HOSPITAL DATA. |
|
|
Not later than January 1 of each year, the department shall post on |
|
|
the department's Internet website hospital trauma response revenue |
|
|
code data collected under Section 108.009. The posted data must |
|
|
include information for the entire state, each public health |
|
|
region, and each hospital. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
