A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the length of the term of an existing comprehensive |
|
|
development agreement for State Highway 130. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 223.208, Transportation Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Subsection (h-1) to read as follows: |
|
|
(h-1) Notwithstanding Subsection (h), a comprehensive |
|
|
development agreement entered into on or before March 22, 2007 for |
|
|
State Highway 130 from U.S. Highway 183 to Interstate Highway 10 |
|
|
(Segments 5 and 6) may be amended to extend the term of the |
|
|
comprehensive development agreement up to an additional 20 years if |
|
|
the amendment outlines the benefit the state will derive from |
|
|
extending the term of the comprehensive development agreement. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
