SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 792
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize Rose Marie Lehmann for 30 years of outstanding service |
|
|
with the Girl Scouts of the United States of America; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Rose Marie Lehmann has been the leader of Troop |
|
|
367 for three decades, and under her leadership, many of the |
|
|
troop's members have earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold |
|
|
Award; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Lehmann has also served as a mentor and |
|
|
trainer for other Girl Scout leaders and as a service unit manager; |
|
|
she has been instrumental in the process of creating and sustaining |
|
|
a wide range of popular Girl Scout events and in the success of |
|
|
sales efforts for the famed Girl Scout cookie program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, She has received honors from the Girl Scouts of |
|
|
Greater South Texas, including the Appreciation and Honor Pins |
|
|
and the Labor of Love Award; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Rose Marie Lehmann has had a positive impact on |
|
|
the lives of countless Girl Scouts, and it is truly fitting that |
|
|
she receive special recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|
|
Legislature, hereby commend Rose Marie Lehmann on her |
|
|
exceptional service with the Girl Scouts of the United States of |
|
|
America and extend to her best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
