SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 792
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Rose Marie Lehmann for 30 years of outstanding service
  with the Girl Scouts of the United States of America; and
         WHEREAS, Rose Marie Lehmann has been the leader of Troop
  367 for three decades, and under her leadership, many of the
  troop's members have earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold
  Award; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Lehmann has also served as a mentor and
  trainer for other Girl Scout leaders and as a service unit manager;
  she has been instrumental in the process of creating and sustaining
  a wide range of popular Girl Scout events and in the success of
  sales efforts for the famed Girl Scout cookie program; and
         WHEREAS, She has received honors from the Girl Scouts of
  Greater South Texas, including the Appreciation and Honor Pins
  and the Labor of Love Award; and
         WHEREAS, Rose Marie Lehmann has had a positive impact on
  the lives of countless Girl Scouts, and it is truly fitting that
  she receive special recognition; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th
  Legislature, hereby commend Rose Marie Lehmann on her
  exceptional service with the Girl Scouts of the United States of
  America and extend to her best wishes for continued success in
  all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
