IN RE:
HB128 by Hinojosa (relating to school district notification to a parent of physical fitness assessment results of the parent's child.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
It is assumed that the provisions of the bill relating to school district notification to a parent of physical fitness assessment results could be absorbed using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
The Texas Education Agency assumes there would be costs to independent school districts and charter schools related to printing and mailing reports for each student tested, which may be offset to the extent districts could instead provide electronic copies of reports.
