No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code by setting fees for services by the offices of the sheriff and constables in one fiscal year to fees established in the preceding fiscal year under certain circumstances.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, the bill would have no fiscal impact to counties, but could prevent possible loss of revenue if a county fails to set fees and costs on time.
