HB156 by Moody (Relating to the supervision by a personal bond office of individuals granted an occupational driver's license; providing for an administrative fee.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize the supervision by personal bond office individuals granted an occupational driver's license.  The bill would establish certain fees that this office may collect.

According to the Department of Public Safety, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

According to the Department of Criminal Justice, no significant fiscal implication is anticipated unless the bill is determined to have an impact on the offender population.

Local Government Impact

According to El Paso County, assuming a $25 administrative fee is imposed starting in 2020, it is projected that the county could receive additional fee revenue approximating $35,100 and $45,900 in years 2020 and 2021 respectively.
