No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to unlawful employment practices regarding discrimination in payment of compensation. The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) estimates that implementing the provisions of the bill would result in additional complaints and minimal cost to the state. This analysis assumes duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
