No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code related to state and federal jurisdiction within boundaries of the national park system in the state. The bill would take effect immediately upon a two-thirds vote in both houses; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2019.
Based on the analysis of the Parks and Wildlife Department, Secretary of State, and Office of the Governor, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
